The Australian Medicolegal College is an association of senior specialist Medical Practitioners from diverse specialties doing Medicolegal work. The College has been in existence since 1984 when it was originally known as Medlaw Association of NSW.

It was subsequently renamed Medlaw Association of Australia and then Australian Medicolegal College. The final change was to reflect its learned status and increasing concentration on professional education measures and particularly relating to the Medicolegal field.
