Join Dr Karen Phillips, Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist as she shares her insights into managing AF and the risks associated with the brain.


Learning Outcomes

  1. Review conditions and risk factors commonly seen in patients with AF, such as stroke risk, dementia and anticoagulation treatment
  2. Understand which treatment regime (medical management V Catheter ablation) benefits patients with different patterns of AF
  3. Discussing the importance of individualising anti-thrombotic treatment to protect the brain from micro-emboli.
