The Robotic Surgical Assistant Course 2025 is a comprehensive training program designed to equip medical professionals with essential skills in robotic surgery assistance.

This course is ideal for:​

• Doctors interested in or commencing robotic surgery practice.​
• Surgeons, trainees, surgical assistants, and residents seeking to enhance their robotic surgery skills.​

Course Content:

Participants will delve into:​

• Robot technology and safety protocols.​
• Robot setup and fundamental operating skills.​
• Pathways to competency, including lectures on robotic experience, components of surgical robots, buttonology, and instrumentation.​
• Docking and undocking procedures, instrument exchange and visualization.​
• Efficient use of vascular ligation devices like Hem-O-Loks and Ligaclips.​

Participants will engage in hands-on training using IMRA's life-like Pindari synthetic training models, designed to mimic human tissue response to suturing, electro-cautery, and stapling.​

Course Structure:

1. Online Pre-Course: Access provided upon enrollment.​
2. Face-to-Face Activities: Conducted on the course day.​
3. Post-Course Survey: Feedback collected after course completion.​
