Description

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is notably underdiagnosed in populations with high-risk comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Early detection and intervention are crucial and can reduce disease progression by up to 50%. This CPD-accredited webinar brings together leading nephrologists and primary care experts to equip GPs with the latest Kidney Health Australia (KHA) 5th Edition CKD Guidelines (July 2024) and practical strategies for enhancing CKD detection and management.

Program Components:

✅ Guided EMR-based extraction to identify high-risk of (undiagnosed) CKD

✅ Optimise screening using uACR and eGFR

✅ Apply evidence-based guidelines for early CKD diagnosis and intervention

Developed by an expert faculty, this initial webinar will outline the program’s framework, illustrate the process, discuss the next steps, and explain how participants can efficiently complete up to 50 hours in 2025.
