This review begins with a study that assessed the levels of placental insulin-like growth factor binding protein 1 gene in earing pregnancy, and if this contributes to the risk of insulin resistance and gestational diabetes mellitus.
Another interesting study evaluated the impact of the Dobbs decision on the dispensing of oral and emergency contraceptives within the US.
This review concludes with a historical multicentre cohort study that aimed to determine the relationship between maternal opioid dosage during pregnancy and the risk of neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome.
