Presented by Dr Damien Grinsell, this video provides an introduction to advanced microsurgery and supermicrosurgery.

The education video will explore the difference between basic and advanced microsurgery, highlight advances that have been made in microsurgery and discuss reconstructive options for difficult cases.

This education is aimed at surgical trainees, qualified general and plastic surgeons.

Learning Outcomes

1. Explain the safe and effective dose of local anaesthetics
2. List the ways of reducing pain associated with local anaesthetic delivery
3. Deliver effective local anaesthetic blocks in the face, hands, and lower extremities.
