The Fundamentals of Patient Experience (PX) program directly addresses the critical need to partner with consumers in their care. By equipping you with the knowledge and skills to excel in patient-partnership care, the Fundamentals of PX program will support you in delivering high-quality care that meets and exceeds your patients' expectations.

 

To Enhance PX Understanding: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of a modern patient experience (PX) and recognise its importance within modern healthcare practices. To Contextualise PX in Australian Health Reform: Participants will learn how to position patient experience within the context of Australian health reform and determine the need for potential reforms within their own practices. To Explore PX Maturity Principles: Participants will familiarise themselves with the three core principles of PX maturity and engage in self-reflection to assess where their practice currently stands on the journey towards becoming more PX-driven. To Determine the Practice’s Current PX Maturity: Participants can benchmark their practice’s current PX performance, laying the foundation for developing a comprehensive PX-action plan for change to support continuous improvement.

  1. Describe a modern patient experience (PX) and recognise its importance within their practice
  2. Appraise how patient experience fits into the context of Australian health reform
  3. Summarise the three principles of PX maturity and how to implement principles into practice
