Learn Medical Acupuncture with AMAC - Part 1

Description

The Part 1 Course is an AMC accredited higher education program of learning acupuncture skills incorporating evidence based scientific medical knolwedge, integrated with the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.   

The program is taken over one year and includes theoretical learning in the form of webinars, face-to-face lectures, access to an onine management system with reading and other learning resources such as quizzes and a mini audit, as well as practical skills learning in the form of face-to-face wokrshops and supervised clinical attachments.

Assessments include assignments, a clinical exam, and two written exams.

The training program is designed for qualified and registered medical and dental clinicians and aims to teach both the science, and the art, of the practical skills needed for using acupuncture as a treatment modality within modern medical practice and therefore offering the best treatment options to patients.  The course aims for graduates to acquire the theoretical learning and clinical skills necessary to perform independently and safely as Medical Acupuncturists.

Earlybird Fee of $9,625 only available until 5.30pm Thursday 31 October
Standard Fee of $10,600 applies from Friday 1 November to 5.30pm (AEST) Friday 29 November 2024.  
No registrations will be received after this date under any circumstance
 
Part 1 Course Prerequisites
1. Completion of Medical Course (MBBS, MBCHB, MD) and
a)  FRACGP / FARGP / FACRRM; or
b)  Other Medical Specialty Training Program; or
c)  Vocational registration as a General Practitioner  or
d)  Completion of undergraduate dental course, or postgraduate dental course (BDSC).
and
2. Currently actively practicing their chosen dental / medical specialty in General or Specialty Practice with full access to patients for using their acquired medical acupuncture skills.
and
3. Current unconditional medical / dental registration with AHPRA.
